TEMPE – As the fall 2022 semester wraps up and Arizona State University celebrates fall graduations, 25 student-athletes now join the Sun Devil Alumni family. Of the graduates, 11 graduated with honors, two graduated in less than four years, and there are two graduates from Barrett, The Honors College.
There are 10 sports with student-athletes who earned degrees, with many earning various honors. Among those graduating with honors, five are Summa Cum Laude (3.80 to 4.0 GPA), two are Magna Cum Laude (3.60 to 3.79 GPA) and four were Cum Laude (3.40 to 3.59 GPA).
Four graduates are graduating with their master’s degrees: Alexia Delgado (soccer), Nicole Douglas (soccer), Halle Harger (softball) and Eva van Deursen (soccer). Two student-athletes, Lieske Carleer (soccer) and Audrey Ernst (triathlon), are graduating from Barrett, The Honors College.
Ernst is also a Tip of the Fork graduate this fall. This program encourages high-performing Sun Devil student-athletes to redefine their standard of excellence by providing them with experiences and education to become transformative leaders in their community.
