Keishia Alexandra Tunis understands just how important hair is to a women which is why she came up with KHAIR. KHAIR is an online hair extension supplier that has one mission: provide gorgeous hair to women all over the world no matter their race or nationality.
Keishia is definitely one step closer to helping women all over the world feel more confident and empowered through her products. This week, she took some time out from her busy schedule to answer some of our questions about what was the inspiration behind KHAIR and how it all came together.
BWR: What was the inspiration behind KHAIR?
Keishia: The inspiration and goal behind KHAIR was to be able to cater to all woman, from all ethnicities. I really wanted a place (online) where everyone could find hair extensions for their hair texture.
BWR: You’re a big promoter of confidence and positivity. Would you say that having good hair inspires more confidence?
Keishia: I think it definitely does, and several studies stand by it as well. Having a good hair day will boost anyone’s confidence and make you feel more attractive. For years, hair has played a role in the way we view ourselves and the way others look at us.
BWR: What would you said is the biggest challenge that women face when it comes to their hair and how does KHAIR help them?
Keishia: It can be from wanting more thickness, needing more length or simply wanting to completely change your look without touching your natural hair. KHAIR offers a variety of hair extensions and wigs that can resolve all of these issues and help achieve any look.
BWR: What is your biggest accomplishment? What are you most proud of?
Keishia: Creating KHAIR, it hasn’t all been easy but oh so rewarding. Being able to sell products that I believe in, and connecting with clients worldwide is amazing
BWR: If you could give an advice to someone who is just starting out, what would it be?
Keishia: Don’t beat yourself down. Starting any business isn’t all fun and games but it’s all so worth it, and don’t forget that hard work pays off always
BWR: Do you have any regrets? Is there anything that you wish you would have done differently?
Keishia: Not really because it’s all a learning curve. I don’t think I would change a thing. Everything I’ve gone through I’ve learned from.
BWR: At BWR, we focus on women entrepreneurs. We understand the challenges that they face and the daily struggles compared to male entrepreneurs. Can you tell us if you’ve faced any challenges as a women entrepreneur?
Keishia: On the contrary, I’ve received a lot of help from other entrepreneurs especially woman which I am so grateful for.
BWR: Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What is your main goal?
Keishia: Flourishing and hopefully catering to millions of women around the world threw my products:)
