A Chipping Norton business woman has launched a new range of self-heating eye masks for children.
And to launch them she has set up a competition that will send the lucky finder of a golden ticket on a £2,500 holiday to Lapland.
Serial entrepreneur and author Clare Anderson, has hidden the grand prize inside a box of her self-heating eye masks, known as Elf Eyes.
Clare, 47, launched her home spa products company called Sensory Retreats, in 2019. And as soon as her daughter Siena noticed her clever relaxation eye masks, she knew she wanted a version for children.
Siena came up with the name Elf Eyes, and mum Clare, who has worked in the beauty industry for 30 years, set about bringing a range of distinctive red and green child-friendly wellbeing products to life.
The vegan collection now includes a relaxing pillow spray, pulse point oil, a wooden wish wand and even a wellbeing fantasy novel for children aged 5-10, called The Lost Wish.
Clare said: “Charlie and The Chocolate Factory is such an amazing story and for me, the most magical part of the tale was always the tantalising idea of finding the golden ticket.
“I always strive to give something back with all of my business ventures, making partnerships with charities, working with schools and making community connections.
“I wanted to bring some magic to families and what could be more magical than discovering a golden ticket and winning a trip to Lapland?
“Elf Eyes are the perfect stocking filler for children aged over five. Little elves everywhere will love kicking off their boots and relaxing with one of these wonderful self-heating eye masks that will transport you from the fun festivities into heavenly relaxation.
“Hidden inside one of the packs is a golden ticket that will take one family on an adventure beyond their wildest dreams.”
Beauty industry entrepreneur Clare, who has lived near Chipping Norton for 12 years, started her career as a beauty therapist for the likes of Champneys and Clarins, before working her way up to a national position in sales for Decleor & Carita. In 2008, Clare’s company Shared Beauty Secrets brought luxury spa product Lava Shells to the UK and Ireland on an exclusive license. The original self-heating, biodegradable, massage tool is now used in over 2,000 high end spas.
